The Parish of Marshfield lies within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty at the Southern edge of the Cotswolds within South Gloucestershire. It is bordered to the East by Wiltshire and to the South by Bath & North East Somerset. It is divided by the A420 which links it directly to Bristol 15 miles to the West and Chippenham 10 miles to the East. The City of Bath is 5 miles away to the South West. Entry to the M4 is 4 miles North.
